This part of the coast is administered by Manacor, the second largest municipality on the island. In the coastal communities as well as in Manacor and Felanitx, the traditional weekly markets take place on various days of the week.

There are two recommended ways to get there by car. The motorway to Manacor or directly on the well-maintained country roads via Campos and Felanitx. By public transport, it is best to take the bus or train to Manacor and then continue via Porto Cristo.
